Fortescue Cloudbreak Solar Farm

HP Profiles is supplying PEFLEX® 23S conduit systems to Fortescue’s Cloudbreak Solar Farm, located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

With a planned capacity of approximately 190MW, the project forms a key part of Fortescue’s strategy to decarbonise its iron ore operations and eliminate diesel usage across its mining fleet.

Scope:

• Supply of PEFLEX® 23S Corrugated Conduit
• Cable protection across large-scale solar infrastructure
• Designed for remote and high-temperature mining environments

Solution:
The Pilbara presents some of the most demanding conditions for infrastructure in Australia — including extreme heat, UV exposure, and remote installation challenges.

HPFLEX® 23S was selected for its:

• High mechanical strength and flexibility
• UV-stabilised performance for long-term outdoor exposure
• Efficiency in installation across large-scale solar arrays

Outcome:
