HP Profiles is proud to be supplying our HPFLEX® 63 mm Heavy-Duty Corrugated Conduit to the landmark Fulham Solar Farm and Battery development in Gippsland, Victoria.
This $300 million renewable energy project is one of Australia’s most significant examples of DC-coupled solar and battery technology, combining an 80 MW solar farm with a 64 MW / 128 MWh battery system. Once complete, it will generate enough clean energy to power approximately 39,000 homes.
A Landmark Renewable Energy Development
The Fulham project stands out as one of the first — and largest — DC-coupled solar-battery systems in the country. By routing solar generation directly into the battery through DC/DC conversion, the system minimises energy losses and reduces connection infrastructure costs.
The project is backed by major institutional investors, including:
Battery technology and long-term performance services will be provided by global energy leader Wärtsilä, ensuring durability, reliability, and stability for years to come.
A ceremonial sod-turning event was recently held on-site with Lily D’Ambrosio, Victorian Minister for Energy and Resources, highlighting the importance of the project to Victoria’s clean-energy transition.
Our Contribution: HPFLEX® 63mm HD Conduit
For a project located across 160+ hectares of agricultural land outside Sale, Victoria, robust underground cabling protection is essential.
We are supplying HPFLEX® 63 mm Heavy-Duty Corrugated Conduit, engineered to withstand demanding solar farm environments:
Our conduit is supporting the electrical infrastructure that connects the solar arrays, battery systems, and associated services across the expansive site.
Building Jobs & Clean Energy for Gippsland
Once fully operational in 2027, the Fulham Solar Farm & Battery will:
We’re proud that HP Profiles and HPFLEX® are playing a role in expanding Victoria’s renewable-energy capacity, strengthening local manufacturing involvement in Australia’s clean-energy projects, and supporting the transition to a sustainable future.
